How should I prepare for a facial?

 To prepare, do not use exfoliants the night before your appointment, do not wax for at least 3 days before, do not get laser hair removal for 2 weeks before, do not use acutane for 6 months before, and consult with esthetician before booking an appointment if you are using any dermatologist perscribed products.

 

How should I prepare for tanning?

 Shave at least 3-6 hours before your tan, waxing should be done 1-2 days before session. remove makeup, deoderant, perfume, and lotion. Do not apply any oils before or after tanning and remember to bring baggy clothes and sandels so as not to leave any stains or streaks. Do not wear any of the following fabrics for at least 8 hours after:

  • wool

  • nylon

  • silk

How long do spray tans last?

 Typically, spray tans last about 5 to 7 days. 

 

How should I prepare for manicures and/or pedicures?

For pedicures, wear loose pants so they can be pulled up past your knees and bring flip flops to wear after your pedicure so that your polish doesn't get ruined.  For both manicures and pedicures, keep in mind that nail enamel (polish) takes two hours to dry, so don't plan any activities for right after your appointment. 

 

How should I prepare for a blowout?

To get the best possible results, it is important to wash your hair the day before your blowout. When you call to make the appointment, let us know how long, frizzy, and coarse your hair is.

 

How should I prepare for laser hair removal?

To prepare make sure to not tan for 6 weeks prior, do not wax, tweeze, have electrolisis or use dipilatory creams 4-5 weeks prior, if it's prescrobed, take a cold sore medication 1 day before, shave the areas that are to be treated 1 day before, and take a prescribed anesthetic cream 1 hour before your appointment. How should I prepare for botox?

Make sure to tell your doctor if you have had received any other botulinum toxic product in the last 4 months, and if you are taking any medications particularly blood thinners, muscle relaxants, sleeping aids, or allergy medication. For more information on botox 

 

How much should I tip?

You should tip about 15-25% of the cost of the treatment you recieved.

 

What should I do to prepare for threading?

Nothing! Just come and let us take care of you.

 

How should I prepare for a massage?

To assure that you enjoy your massage to the fullest, do not eat as close to an hour before your massage. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing, and we advise you not to schedule any activities for the rest of the day after your massage so that you can stay relaxed. 

 

I'm a nail biter, what should I do?

Our nail tech specialist can help men, women, and children get rid of that nervous habit. She has helped many nail biters to stop biting their nails, book an appointment for a manicure and she can help you too.

 

How do I book an appointment?

Is the salon only for women?

No, we spoil men, women, and children for any service.
